Never going to the gym again

Two summers ago Karl bought a home gym on clearance at a sporting goods store. I am told it was a great deal. The (very heavy) boxes of unassemble home gym have been sitting in the warehouse since then. I finally urged him to either sell it on Craigs list or put it together so we could actually look at use it. So he had his delivery guys bring it to the house and haul it downstairs, (everyone should have their own delivery guys). One Saturday we decided to have at it.

So, just 3 hours and 20 minutes later we finished.  All the parts were there, the instructions were pretty easy to understand, and we didn't get mad at each other! 

Now I never have to go to a public gym, I can go to my basement to sweat and groan in private.  Maybe I should note that I never have been to a gym before, never even been tempted.  But the 5 minutes I spent on this machine was okay, I might use it again.

Summer Dayz

Hate to see summer wind down.  Spring was long and cold and I haven't had enough summer fun yet.  I have a granddaughter I have not met, haven't been camping and my tomatoes aren't red yet.  But school starts next week, Laura heads back to Provo and it's dark in the morning again already.  On the other hand, I love, love  Fall.  I am working on a few home improvement projects and hope to share them here and always love to see projects other people are working on, big or little.

Hello! I have loved your blogs so much, I decided to start my own! I'm sick of facebook; I like blogs better!  This photo was taken on our Pioneer Day "Staycation".  We've lived here for 22 years and I decided it was high time to see the Great Salt Lake up close.  We took Laura and Jill to Antelope Island, (Rob was working), and visited the lake, the visitors center and the buffalo that inhabit the island.  Was a really fun day!
