For the past six years, the Larry H Miller group has done a day of service on Larry's birthday. This year, my company went to the boys and girls club in West Salt Lake and painted, clean, organized, detailed their vans, scrub the gym floor, and in general made a big difference. There were over 2,000 people in seven states doing similar projects. Our outdoor project of painting the building became an indoor project because of rain. It's pretty fun to see , because we swoop in with our volunteers and accomplish incredible things in four hours of one morning.
This week, Karl and I were able to go to see this incredible show called Cavalia.
I have never seen Cirque du Soleil before, so this was a really fun experience for us. It was 50% horse tricks and 50% incredible acrobatics.
The whole thing was set up in a giant white tent in the parking lot of one of our malls. We have not yet perfected the art of the "selfie".
