June-Palooza
We have eight family birthdays in the month of June and the first two weeks of July. We decided to combine it into one summer event we've nicknamed June Palooza! It was a hot, summer Saturday in Lindon and we played water kickball, Kenny slow roasted and smoked brisket, we had water guns and potluck barbecue. We had a cake for everyone. One cake for everyone....

Choir Retirement
A good friend and member of our ward took a bunch of pictures of this somewhat sad day, (I will post some of those in a day or two). We had tremendous support from family, friends and ward members who came to Karl's final performance of Music and the Spoken Word and the Retirement Program. What I have below is a wreath that a gal in the choir made for all (28) of this years retirees. A cake, it may look like a smiley face but, in reality, it is a "bass clef". And of course, the two of us after the program is over. Karl is wearing a lei made out of Hershey kisses.
